Coral Michelin (she/her)
S&T Product Manager, Professor and Researcher in Design
Michelin is a strategic and ecosystemic designer, graduated in Environmental Management (UESA), with a master in Strategic Design (Unisinos), and a Ph.D. in Design (UAM). She is an independent and academic researcher with a focus on ecology, regeneration, systemic thinking, diversity (DE&I), futures, and decoloniality.
She is the Science and Technology Product Manager at re.green, a company that restores tropical forests at scale in Brazil. She was the Director of Mobilization of Communities of Innovation at (011).lab, the innovation laboratory in the City Hall of São Paulo, and was the coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree in Product and Service
Design at Istituto Europeo di Design (IED). Michelin is a professor at IED, ESPM, and visiting professor at Unisinos.
On her personal domain, she is an ecology and indigenous rights activist, poet, artist, and feminist.
