Emojis, Emotions, and Eco-Innovation - Crafting Sustainable User Journeys

Facillitated by Thu Nguyen and Sami Sorvali

Taiste

Theme: Theory of impact

In today’s world, design is more than just aesthetics; it’s a powerful tool for driving positive change. This interactive workshop invites participants to explore the intricate relationship between user emotions, sustainable design, and digital product development.

By harnessing the power of emojis, we will delve deep into the emotional landscape of user experiences. Unlike traditional user journey mapping, we’ll assign multiple emojis to each touchpoint, capturing the nuanced emotional spectrum users encounter. This rich emotional data will serve as the foundation for identifying pain points and opportunities for sustainable innovation.

Participants will then collaborate to define sustainable angles for addressing these pain points, considering the delicate balance between business goals, human well-being, and environmental impact. Through engaging exercises and group discussions, we will explore how to integrate sustainability into the core of product design, creating solutions that are both profitable and planet-friendly.
