Jennifer Abernathy-Felix is a creative problem-solver who thrives at the intersection of design and business. With over 15 years of experience across healthcare, hospitality, and consumer products, her passion lies in navigating the ambiguity of the unknown, while advocating for mental health in the workplace.

Shaped by years abroad in Mexico, France, and Sweden, and moving across six different U.S. states, Jennifer brings a global and curious lens to her work. With degrees in Industrial Design, Interior Design, and Business Administration, along with over 15 certificates, she has had the opportunity to build and lead a variety of design-business integration initiatives, bringing together diverse teams to drive enterprise-wide impact.

Currently, she leads the Design Generalist team at Chick-fil-A, Inc., responsible for high-impact, high-ambiguity programs. Previously, she spearheaded human-centered transformation at Blue Cross Blue Shield’s C1 Innovation Lab, embedding design thinking into the DNA of the business and the hearts of Fortune 50 clients. She describes her path as “less ladder, more Swiss Army knife,” blending a design mindset with brand strategy and business transformation into a versatile toolkit for change.
