This year’s conference organized with the SDN Germany Chapter and in cooperation with World Design Capital® 2026, takes place in Wiesbaden (Frankfurt RheinMain, Germany).
To be inclusive of all attendees, we’re continuing with a hybrid format (in-person and online). The in-person event will be held at the RheinMain CongressCenter (RMCC) with a live stream of the talks available via our hybrid event platform for our online audience.
The RMCC is located in the heart of Wiesbaden nestled between green spaces, museums and the city center.

Travel by Car
The RMCC in Wiesbaden is located 38 km from Frankfurt am Main. It’s approximately a 20 minute drive from the Frankfurt International Airport and can be reached via the A66 freeway. There is ample parking located at the RMCC as well as additional parking lots nearby.
By Taxi
There is a taxi stand directly opposite the RMCC, on Viktoria-Luise-Straße between the Museum Wiesbaden and the Federal Institute for Population Research (BiB).
Arrival by Public Transportation
The RMCC is located 800 meters from Wiesbaden Central Station and can be reached on foot in 5 to 10 minutes or by bus in 5 minutes.
The S-Bahn lines S1, S8 and S9; the regional trains RB10, RB21 and RB75; and various ICE connections to Wiesbaden depart regularly from the Frankfurt main station. Further information on the exact connections can be found on the website of the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV).

Wiesbaden is located just 30 minutes from Frankfurt Airport, one of Europe’s largest international hubs, and is easily accessible for attendees travelling from across Europe and beyond. The state capital of Hesse, Wiesbaden is located in the heart of the Rhine-Main metropolitan region and close to Frankfurt Am Main. The city is renowned for its well preserved pre-war architecture, and its grand façades, elegant boulevards and landmark buildings, such as the Kurhaus, create a distinctive atmosphere that is both stately and welcoming.

It is one of Germany’s most historic cities and is known as a center of wellbeing, culture and exchange. In the 19th century, it was one of Europe’s most celebrated spa towns, attracting visitors from across the continent. Its 26 natural hot springs continue to supply the city’s thermal baths today, preserving a tradition of restoration and reflection that still defines Wiesbaden’s character.
Wiesbaden is also in the heart of Germany’s wine growing region, called the Rheingau. Vineyards stretch along the Rhine River, producing celebrated Riesling and Pinot Noir (Spätburgunder) wines. There are many wine bars in Wiesbaden, which provide an atmospheric backdrop for sampling the local Riesling and Burgundy wines, as well as an opportunity for socialising and connection beyond the conference program.
