Meet the Team
SDGC25 wouldn’t be possible without our incredible volunteer team. Working across content, communications, activities, and the overall experience, our volunteers bring their skills, time, and enthusiasm to create a conference that feels inspiring, meaningful, and welcoming.
What inspired you to join the SDGC25 organizing team?

I loved the opportunity to attend SDGC for the first time in Helsinki. As part of the Dallas planning team, I want to make sure to create a memorable and enjoyable experience for those attending SDGC25, especially those who may be traveling to the USA for the first time.

I jumped at the chance to reprise my role on the planning team as part of the SDN Events Board. It's a fantastic opportunity to work with such a great group of volunteers who want to advance the practice of service design around the world.

After nearly a decade away, and a global pandemic that reshaped how we connect and create, we’re thrilled to bring the Service Design Global Conference back to North America. This moment marks more than just a return; it’s a rebalancing. By hosting SDGC in Dallas, we aim to reconnect with North American practitioners, elevate diverse voices, and bridge global perspectives at a time when design is needed more than ever.

Being an event manager for the SDGC conference over the past four years has been a great experience, thanks in large part to the vibrant energy and collaborative spirit of our big and diverse team. I'm excited to see what the Dallas conference will bring!

This is my second conference. What keeps me coming back is that each time I get to collaborate with peers from around the world, learn from inspiring people, and learn about myself, while getting my hands dirty. SDGC is a safe space to gain hands-on experience, doing what I love most: collaborating, and bringing teams together to build community-based experiences.

I joined the SDGC25 planning team to help amplify the reach and impact of service design by building meaningful partnerships and strengthening our global community. It’s a great opportunity to contribute to an event that brings together diverse voices, ideas, and practices shaping the future of service design.

Experience Team

Passionate about strengthening the global service design community and continuing nearly a decade of involvement with SDN initiatives. As a co-founder of the SDN Dallas chapter in 2018, I’m excited for the opportunity to give back and help shape an inspiring, impactful experience in Dallas!

This is my third year with SDGC, and what keeps me coming back is the opportunity to create space for community, connection, and learning. I also value how much I get to grow myself—whether it's through cross-cultural collaboration or getting to know better the design landscape in different parts of the world.

They say don’t meet your heroes—but clearly, they haven’t been to SDGC. I started as an SDN Ambassador, drawn in by a global community that actually walks the talk of service design. After meeting so many incredible humans in Helsinki, I knew I wanted to do more. I want as many people as possible to feel what it’s like to be surrounded by 1,000 service designers who get why your journey map has 43 post-its and an existential crisis. This isn’t just about organizing a conference. It’s about designing belonging. And that’s the kind of transformation I’m here for.

I joined the SDN Global Conference 2025 planning team to help shape an amazing experience for attendees while learning firsthand how a major international event comes together. I'm excited to connect with everyone at the conference!
