Bruno Monteiro

Executive Director

Head of Service Design

Bruno Monteiro is Executive Director and Head of Service Design for Digital Customer Experience at JP Morgan Chase, where he leads AI-driven strategic initiatives that have streamlined operations, personalized customer experiences, and mitigated billions in potential losses.

​

His extensive design experience includes global brand repositioning for Tommy Hilfiger, TV network branding for Nickelodeon, HBO, TV Land, and AMC, and digital applications for Nike, NASA's Juno Expedition, and Boeing's 787 Dreamliner. At Amplify, he created digital experiences for classrooms in partnership with UC Berkeley's Lawrence Hall of Science.

Bruno's work has been featured in prominent design publications and displayed at MOMA NY and Cooper Hewitt Museum. He is an Ashoka Changemaker emerging innovator, USAID Global Grand Challenge winner (Zika), Gates Grand Challenge winner (Malaria), and has spoken at Mayo Clinic Transform, Stanford Medicine X, and HxRefactored conferences.

He is completing his PhD in Inclusive Design and Creative Technologies at University College Dublin and holds an MFA in Design for Social Innovation from the School of Visual Arts (SVA), along with executive certifications from MIT, Cornell, and Oxford.
